NO CASH REFUNDS: Services paid in advance will receive account credit of remainder less any charges applied towards cancelled services per cancellation policy. Credit will be on any amounts paid left over after cancellation fees have been applied.
Example: If you have pre-paid weekly services scheduled at basic sitting cost and cancel full weeks service on Monday at 7AM. You will be responsible for your daily rate for Monday per cancellation policy and remaining funds will be credited back to your account for future services.
$15 x 5 days =$75.00
$75.00 - $15.00 per cancellation policy= $60.00 credited towards future service.
Why is the Cancellation Policy Important for Clients and Sitter?
At Barks and Purrs it very important that we take great care of our clients. The cancellation policies ensure fairness to all involved.
We absolutely hate to turn away any of our excellent clients because we are fully booked, but from time to time this does occur. The cancellation polices helps to keep space available in our schedule for those who really need it, because we are only booking services with those that are certain they need us and know that cancellation policies apply should they need to cancel. I would hate to turn away a client because we are full, only to have someone cancel on short notice whose space I could of given to someone who really needed it. During times like February and April vacation when business has to be turned due to limited availability. Having short notice cancellations creates a loss of income that is very much depended upon and may also effect future bookings for those clients turned away.
